PowerChurch has been around since 1984 and has been used by tens of thousands of churches over the years. It was originally a DOS program and made the transition from DOS to Windows in the middle 90s. This was a big change, however the move from a desktop application to a web service is much bigger....

We have had lots of customers for years use the other layouts and have not had a problem from Revenue Canada with the format.

That is because the sample #1 from the CRA does not contain space for a notes or a thank you. We got a lot of push back from Canadian customers because the receipt did not look exactly like the sample from the Revenue Canada website. There is a check box on the reconciliation that says "Only show items dated before statement date"

That will affect the account balance shown on the bank reconciliation.

On that same step above the "print receipts using CRA Sample #1 layout" there is another check box for "Print tax Receipt" is that checked?

The black and white W2 forms version 12 produces can be sent to the IRS. We had to send in sample forms to them and get them approved.
