Re: Creating 2nd quarterly for 2023
We are having our yearly WC audit and I'm missing my 2nd quarterly 941 for 2023. I had back to back surgeries and apparently I didn't save it in my files. I'm assuming I did one because I never received anything from the IRS stating otherwise. Is there anyway for me to go back and prepare another o...

Re: SetUp Payroll 403b Deferral for Non-Ministerial in PC v10
@NeilZ Yes we upgraded to version 12 and tried it about 2 years ago. It was so full of bugs I literally watched financial data disappear from fields that had been posted right before my eyes in a historical data window. Power Church told me that couldn't have possibly happen and I verified it throu...

Re: SetUp Payroll 403b Deferral for Non-Ministerial in PC v10
Yes we are still using version 10 - Don't Ask ... LoL Trying to set up a new 403b Deferral for a Non-Ministerial Employee. I used the Old v10 Knowledge Base Article for setting up the 403b deferral. https://www.powerchurch.com/support/kb.php?oldid=17&type=1 I created both an Expense Account for Emp...

Re: Income & Expense Statement Issue
When printing my month end reports for March 2024, the print preview for the Income and Expense Statement is showing only the income. Last month when I did February, it printed correctly. If I try printing prior months, it only shows the income. Everything has been entered and the Balance Sheet amo...

Re: Fund accounting
I understand. no i wasn't taking out of contributions. So ... do you still have an issue? If so, please show the exact way you paid out the funds. The designated offering income looks like it probably closes to the standard 3110-000 unrestricted net assets fund balance account. If so ... you don't ...

Re: Fund accounting
I have confused myself. We had a Special Offering for a minionary. I created a Contribution Fund 500 - name it HoSay; debit 01-1110-000 Checking; Credit 4040-000 Designated Offering This 500 fund has a balance of $1576. That I used to pay said minionary online. What transaction do I make to pull th...

Re: Sort Order - Modify Unposted Transactions
I have the same question, except under View Posted Transactions. There it does not revert back to reference sort, BUT I would much prefer the default to be sorted by Date so I wouldn't have to change it every single time. I could start entering the date as reference, I suppose, but that would only ...

Re: STRANGE-Incomplete Contribution?
You may need to call Powerchurch directly as it sounds like the database may have gotten corrupted.

Re: Canadian Receipt for a donation from a church
We are a parachurch organization in Canada. When I print off Contribution Statements for churches and the like, I uncheck the box indicating that it is for tax purposes. When I do that, the registration number, "Official Receipt for Income Tax Purposes", authorized officer info, and the CRA website...

Re: Missing Contributions that didn't import from Vanco
Good Morning, I am working on early end of the month reports due to a board meeting tonight. While looking at the balance sheet I saw that the Vanco account was off. We have 2 deposits in our bank account from Vanco on 4/29. One is for $75 the other for $149.30 (original contribution amount is $154...

Re: Entering a donated vehicle
How do I enter a vehicle that was donated to our church? We are going to use it for our food pantry, not re-sell it. As was mentioned, Powerchurch really isn't a good place to add such donations. The instructions listed in that post gives you all the necessary info needed. However, if you want to t...

Re: View Posted Transactions
We are not currently using Accounts Payable module for our data entry. The majority of our payments are ACH or direct pay through our bank. We have not yet found a successful, user friendly way of loading data via AP. Instead, we are using Fund Transactions. It's a clean way of entering information...

Re: View Posted Transactions
Sorry for the delay in responding, we've been busy loading our 1st quarter data to catch up to our new installation of PC. When I run the View Posted Transactions in Fund Accounting, the only data is Reference, Date, transaction Description, Month, Year, Date entered, and by whom, etc. We have now ...

Well .. .for the quarterly, you can use the quarterly report as I advised. However, for the monthly, you'll need to create a custom report.

Re: Payroll Liabilities
1) None of the 941 reports include State withholdings. To answer your questions, yes, I get some of what I need, but not all I need in a single report. 2) Exactly. The report that does show the State withholdings forces me to do the math myself. I see the same five items you mentioned, and then I h...
