I use Power Church 11.1. I am the ONLY user for it. We are not networked for any other computer to have access. There have been many times when I will get a message that the file is in use by another use and I need to wait. This occurs when I have my Integrated Data Entry open and am trying to print...

I thought that might be the problem. I have sent a group email before, but we have changed email addresses. I think the group email was prior to that. When I click on an individual email address from personal profiles, it works correctly. Would there be a difference?

Tried to send a group email to most people in our system. Received the following message: A connection to the email server could not be made. An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions.

What does this mean?

After receiving that message, the program closed. When I tried to re-open the program I got another error message and then another when I tried to get into Integrated. The the program closed again.

I was not backing up. I was trying to close a personal profile screen. We only have PC on one computer.

I am using PC 11 and have received the following error message:

ERROR: 41
MESSAGE: Memo file
c:\POWERCHURCH/PCPLUS/DATA/PCUINFO.FPT is missing or is invalid

Does anybody know what that may mean?

What does is mean to be added to the test group? We used a different data management system at a previous church I attended and had a merge option...it was AWESOME!!

When you say to check for duplicates a couple times/month, is there a report or some function you run for that?

There are times when a person gets entered into the system more than one time, for various reasons. Am I right that there is no way to "merge" these profiles? Instead one has to be deleted? In which case any attendance or giving data would have to be manually re-entered into one record or the other ...

I am confused on what to do to locate and use a custom report after I create one. I want it in an excel spreadsheet. I see it listed in the export custom reports option. But when I try to open it, there is nothing usable.
