Ever since I started working here there has been an outstanding balance every time I reconcile of 8.57. I have gone back and tried to find the error but it is next to impossible.
Is there any way to just zero this out so I can balance the checking account?

Re: Entering a local tax.
I should not have said I enter a manual check. I am just transferring the information from the payroll company into the payroll section. "Processing Payroll". I have PC set up to automatically figure the taxes and those always come out the same as what the payroll service says. I just didn't know ho...

Entering a local tax.
We use a payroll service for our payroll. They write the checks and pay all the taxes. I enter the paycheck information into powerchurch manually. Everything is fine until I come to our local "Tri-met Tax". It is a local tax that is the employers responsibility. When I enter the manual check for pay...

Changing fonts in the calendar
Is there anyway to change the font when printing a calendar. Even having the option to use bold or italics would help to make it easy to tell the difference between events quickly. Being able to choose different colors would also be helpful.

County Taxes
I need to know how to post our county tax. The previous bookkeeper had it being posted with the pastors salary but not affecting it. I'm sure that's not correct. It is an extra tax that all businesses pay no matter, employees do not have to pay it.

Re: bank reconciliation
I think you should reverse your original entry and enter it in for the correct amount.

Payroll tax liabilities -vs- expense
Although we use a payroll service I really want to understand how powerchurch uses the funds regarding payroll taxes. I don't know if our system is set up correctly but maybe someone can help me. As near as I can figure out, when our checks arrive and I enter the information into power church, Feder...

Listing Individuals in custom reports
Is there anyway to get PC to list individuals rather than just families? We want a list of each individual with their emails and cell phone numbers but PC keeps just listing the head of household.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Changing the account payroll taxes go into
I have just taken over the accounting for our church. We use a service for payroll but still need to keep track of the taxes paid. The person who set our system up has Federal, Social Security and Medicare all coming out of the same fund. I need to change it so they all come out of the correct fund ...

Searching Contributions by check number
Is there anyway to search for a donation by check number? We have a family who says they gave a certain check and we cannot seem to find it. We enter the checks in manually and I have gone through every contribution statement for last year and cannot find that check number or any other check for tha...
