Find Recent Entries
I'm trying to determine whether I made any recent changes to the membership files. Is there a command or some other way to get a recent chronology of membership changes? The changes I'm talking about are things like modifying a member's name or address or adding a person to an established family etc.

Re: Fund Types and Funds
Thank you for your responses. I am using 11.5. Fund types are now clear to me, and I understand that I can uncheck the box to not report some receipts on the year end statement of contributions. Can some one tell me if there is a way where the data entry person can only apply a designation to one sp...

Fund Types and Funds
I'm not understanding what Fund Types are and the difference between Funds and Fund Type. I have set up several Funds including for example "General", "Missions", "Other Non-Tax Deductible" and "Youth". Most of the tithes are allocated to the general Fund. So if someone wants to contribute to Missio...

Limited Directory
I'd like to prepare a directory limited to Women's Ministry members. I have designated several women as having that activity, but cannot seem to filter my directory to include data from only them.
Any suggestions?

Re: Directory Print Order
I am making a picture directory and have elected the 1/2 page format. When printing that directory, page 1 and 2 are on the first sheet, page 3 and 4 are on the second sheet and so on. If I wish to make a booklet out of 50 pages, it would be best if I could print as follows: Sheet 1 would print pag...

Include Leaders in Directory
Is there a way to include a leader's title such as "Pastor", "Elder" or "Deacon" next to his name, when printing the directory?

Delete Members Vs Contributions
I'd like to delete all of our church members who have not given since say 1/1/2012. Is there a way to do this all at once or do I need to delete them one at a time? (I have already saved a back-up copy to disc for our archives).

Restore Membership
If I backup membership files on 10/1, and continue to update contribution files until 10/15, what is the effect on contribution files of a membership restore on 10/16/
Specifically, what happens to new member contributions that were made between 10/1 and 10/15?

Restore original File
Hi, I spilled some coffee on my laptop which rendered my keyboard unusable. The repair store created a backup of all my data files on an external hard drive. I have reinstalled my powerchurch 11.5 on another computer and would like to access the data files but cannot seem to find them on the externa...

Re: Reversing Designations
Hi Neil, Thanks for keeping me in the loop and thanks for your help and detailed research. It is so very much appreciated. I understand the tracking reasoning. I was using designations to track support donations for one of our missionaries. I had planned to give him a copy of the designation report....

Re: Reversing Designations
Hi again Neil,
Sorry to be such a pain. OK, I reversed and posted and the totals for the donator reflect that reversal.
However, under "Reports-Contributions" "Designated Contributions" I show both the origional error and the reversal. Any way to eliminate both from showing on that report?
