Re: Version 14 - 08/23/2023 Maintenance Release

We have seen that behavior (with or without error a few times now) and are working on a fix for it. In the meantime, as Neil pointed out, you can still manually download the update from https://www.powerchurch.com/mr. Saving the pcp14mr.exe file in the PowerChurch Plus program directory (by default ...

Re: Vanco Imports

There is an open bug report/suggestion about this and I have added you to it. The issue - which I think turned that "bug" into a "suggestion" - is the donor doesn't have the ability to specify a designation on the Vanco side, so when modifying the imported contribution, the PowerChurch user would be...

Re: Fatal Error while trying to generate reports

That is a strange one, especially to be happening every time you run a report. I'm guessing there is something external interfering/interrupting the process. It didn't start doing that until after doing an update. What was it that you updated? It has been a couple of months since the last Maintenanc...

You would debit the bank account where the money was deposited.

Re: Bank Deposit

1. There isn't a way to automatically merge the two together. If the transactions are still unposted in Fund Accounting, you could modify one of them to include the amounts and accounts from both, then delete the other one prior to posting. Otherwise, they will just be listed as two separate deposit...

Re: Reports exporting to wrong location

It asks where you want to save the report. Is it not saving in the specified location? If you see only a file name and not a folder path, that's why it is saving in the PCPLUS14 folder. Just click the Change Folder button and browse to where you want the report to go. It will remember that for next ...

Re: Powerchurch over Synology NAS

The PowerChurch Plus folder that you are hosting on the NAS is just a file share, to make those files available to other Windows machines that can actually run the program's exe. So, in this case, the NAS is serving the same purpose as a flash drive or any other storage device. It just has the netwo...

Re: Adjust Right Printer Margin

It sounds like you might be looking at the printer properties in PowerChurch Online, rather than locally on your printer. A Google search returned the following article, which should help you get to the option that needs to be changed to make this printer behave like your other printer: https://h304...

Re: Powerchurch over Synology NAS

The Check In Server component is a Windows service, so it will have to be running on a Windows computer. The UNC path you set up should be pointing to the PowerChurch Plus program directory, which would be wherever the pcplus12.exe lives on the NAS. Setting the UNC path is a good idea, because when ...

There are very thorough networking instructions in the Knowledge Base: https://www.powerchurch.com/networking There is also an article linked in there for using a NAS or non-Windows server as a host: https://www.powerchurch.com/support/487/1/installing-powerchurch-plus-on-a-nas-network-attached-stor...

Re: Request for Account Activity Report Change

Your suggestion has been noted. However, most reports in PowerChurch are off center on the page. The printable area/margins of the reports are set to a safe default for all printers. The issue is with a setting in this printer, as noted in my reply to your previous topic: https://www.powerchurch.com...
