Re: Sorting Information
We are preparing to have a business meeting in the church and I want to sort attendance (morning worship service) data to determine the NAMES [/b] of "members" that have been in attendance within the past 6 months. I have tried several of the preloaded reports and none of them (that I can determine...

Thanks. I understand that now. On the expense side do I enter the check I write to him against his salary then or maybe "Bonus"? Or do I need a separate expense account? I really appreciate your help. I am definately not an accountant! This is a pass-thru ... it would not be against salary, and def...

So how would I record this amount then? In contributions, we setup a number range (above 100) for contribution funds that were used for items that were not tax deductable such as reimbursements for books, tickets, etc. Any gifts toward an individual were entered here, and these funds then updated t...

Just give them a call, and it will be routed to the right person.Bob wrote:This didn't fix the solution.
Whom should I ask for when I contact the technical support about this problem at Power Church?

Re: Gifts to Pastor
I have a member that gave a birthday gift for our Pastor. It was designated as a portion of a check they wrote that also included their tithes. My question is: Where do I put this gift amount in my acct. sys.? Do I enter it as a contribution fund and then when I write a check to him for the amount ...

Re: Archiving Data
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to archive data in the membership module? Our records go back several years and I would like to be able to clean it up by deleting people who haven't been here for a long time, but at the same time I would like to be able to preserve the history by moving them t...

Re: Question about attendance module
(I have PC Vs. 9) My question is... what is the easiest way to set up and use the attendance module? Right now we send note pads down each aisle where new people can put their info. and regular attenders sign their names. I already have the services set up as (worship service) code 1001 - 8 a.m. se...

Re: First Time Attenders Report
I was hoping this report would list all the new attenders, but I only get a few regular attenders who have come for the first time this year. Am I entering new attenders incorrectly? Or am I using the wrong report? How do I get a list of new attenders/visitors for each Sunday? Thanks for your help....

Re: Fast Data Entry
Why don't you have a "Save" key on the end of the Fast Data Entry instead of "Are you sure....?" After all, Yes, I'm sure I want to save this new data! I just entered it! And then I want to go on to another task. I find the pop-up screen redundant and unnecessary.(Personal opinion only, of course.)...

Re: Contribution Credit
I have a member that made out a check directly to our Pastor which he signed and turned in so that SHE (the member) would get credit for her contribution made to him. Would this be his contribution or the member's contribution since it was made out to him? FWIW ... I seem to remember something abou...

Re: Fatal Error Message at start of reindex
After restoring a file, instead of reindexing an error message appears. This message is " Fatal Error exception code =c0000005" and the screen heading is Microsoft Visual FoxPro. Then the program logs itself out and the desk top comes up. Based on this, I believe it to be a problem with FoxPro. It ...

Steve, you basically have it in a nutshell. At my former church location, we assigned an envelope to every official member, whether they give or not. This gives us the capability to pull reports to see who has pledged or who has not. If any of the 'attends but are not members' request an 'official' ...

Re: Date Error on posted contributions
I proofed the individual contributions before posting, but failed to notice they were attributed to the wrong date. Please let me know how to repair the "date" without having to delete all transactions and redoing. Thanks! By the wrong date, do you mean they were posted wrong month in Funds Account...

Re: PowerChurch 8 freezes when using the Tab key
Hello. I've got a weird problem and I'm not sure if it's a software problem or just an 'old computer' problem. I'll outline what we do: we begin by opening the screen to enter our Sunday contributions, then we search for a member by entering a first name and last name, then we tab through the field...
