If you copy the whole program folder from one computer to another, and then run netsetup on the new computer, that is all you need to do.

Don't copy individual files, that will cause problems like you already experienced.

If you go to FILE-PREFERENCES-MAILING LABEL SETUP and click the custom button, and then edit layout, you will be in the report designer. Click anywhere on the label and then click Format-Ungroup.

Now click format and font and change to whatever you want, change the color if you like.

Are you getting any errors or anything like that? PowerChurch runs fine on Windows XP, it was actually developed on XP so that is not going to be the problem. I am not aware of any problems with it losing the data. PowerChurch looks for data insided it program folder only. If you have local copies t...

The only way to reset the system admin password is by sending us a fax with specific information. You will need to send a fax on church letter head stating why you need it (briefly) and who needs it (who will get the override) and the signatures of 3 people, one of the person getting the override an...

can not update the cursor means the file is seen as read-only, either by permissions or the actual attributes of the file are read-only. Here are some links. Here is also an additional link on the proper setup for networking. More then likely it is a permissions problem, I would take a look at that ...

If you create a Custom Report, you can have it export data in addition to creating a report. The output option would be comma seperated values (first row contains field names) which is basically a mail merge file.

When running Contribution Statements it is considered that in Jan and Feb months you will be running statements for the prior year, so the date defaults to that. After a date (sorry don't remember exact date) it will roll over and default to this years date.

Currently the newest version of PowerChurch (8.5) can only backup to removeable drives such as 3.5 drives, zip drives, and also CD Rewritable drives. There is going to be support for a harddrive backup in the future but currently its not an option. You can make backups outside of the program if you ...

When you get into the report designer you need to delete the check stub blocks so the only thing showing is one check. Then down at the bottom is grey line called Detail , simply slide that up so the detail line is right below the check, if you are looking at the ruler on the left it should be aroun...

After clicking reset layout, it has you select an existing layout and then click OK. Now you need to click Edit Layout and go into the report designer and rearrange your check to fit your needs.

Once in the report designer that is similar to a Custom Report.
