You will be looking for the file named PCBACKUP111 .

I've looked, It isn't there! I'll do a search again. I'll be getting a new dvd drive this weekend.

Backup using Task Scheduler.

I'm using PC+ version 11.1 on a windows VISTA desktop. In PC I can create backups. I've read through multiple threads about setting up Task Scheduler to perform backups. I've tried to set it up but I cannot find the file pcbackup. The PowerChurch folder is on the c drive. The subflolder is pcpluss11...

Re: Backup/Restore Utility

Doesn't backing up "all data files" backup the accounting files?

Re: contribution module procedures

If you wait to post Contributions until after you receive the deposit receipt from the bank, it is easier to correct any discrepancies.

Re: Procedures/Checklist

I like the idea of no paperwork to save time. I'm not sure if the board would go for it. We would have to make sure backups were done regularly. I've been accused of doing things the hard way. Even when I was a kid about 5, our wagon, think radio flyer but blue in color, had a wheel come off. The na...

Re: Budget

Instead of deleting them, you can mark them as inactive. If you go to a line item under maintain chart of accounts, click on details and in the upper right hand corner of the popup is a box labeled active. Uncheck it and it should go away on all reports. Then if you ever need it you can just check i...

Re: Procedures/Checklist

Niel, That would work great if everyone filled out the envelope and put the right amount on it. We've had envelopes that didn't match the check, envelopes that didn't match the cash, checks where the numerical and written amounts don't match, and checks not signed. Some refuse to use envelopes. I'm ...

Re: Procedures/Checklist

I would first start with your counting procedure. Here is the one I developed for our use. It's specific to our offering report but you can modify it for your needs. Eugene Counting Procedure Separate the offering into the following four stacks. Note the contents of each stack. =====================...

Vendor Type

I was looking at one of our "vendors" and saw the box for vendor type. the only reference I could find in the help file was the example of utilities...UT. Is this two letter entry something we can make up ourselves? Is there a list somewhere of standard types? Two letters doesn't leave much room. I ...

Re: IRS and Form 941

We have an accountant do our 941's. Twice we've gotten nasty-grams because box four was unchecked. I was embarrassed because I missed it the second time. Whene I called the IRS they were pleasant to deal with.

Re: Posted Contribution Report not Matching Fund Accounting

I had a problem with a love offering that wasn't expending a fund. I corrected it and did a backup. Then I made a test transaction to recreate the problem. Since the test didn't work, I looked for the problem. Four hours later I found the love offering expense was posting Fund 02 Spice Girls, instea...

Re: Setup in October 2013

I would set up with lump sum balances through September and detail accounting for the rest of 2013. This would let you make sure you have your chart of accounts set up the way you want them. It would give you time to correct any errors before the new year. I'm still finding errors after 2 years, in ...
