Thank you. Your post helped tremendously. I think I will just create level 5 detail accounts under the 4 groups called "uncatagorized prior to 11/1" or something like that to handle the beginning balances and enter the detail we want from here on out. I appreciate your time.

Wow. I feel useless to provide anything coherent or useful. :) All I can add is it doesn't seem to matter what kind or how many selections I make, I crash. Doesn't seem to be a pattern to it all.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I got swamped. No other error message. Not printing, just preview on screen. Select Family Update Form Choose criteria for report Watch the blue percent bar preparing data...reaches 100%. Report Preview Screen pops up white, waiting to be populated. Crash. No error...

I have been able to adjust selections made to eliminate the page, but there is a large space at the bottom indicating there ought to be room for those selections or at least have them go on and print to the blank page, but not. Version 11 Family Update Form Blanks

When running the the report "Family Update Form" a blank page (does have header and footer information) is inserted after every individual record. Is there a way to stop this? Sure creates an awful of paper to "uncollate" and throw away.

Sorry, guess that would be helpful. :) It is in a custom pictorial directory. I did not set it up to print "no photo available," it is a default. I don't mind it there if it was spaced better.

Thank you. I did exactly what you said and it worked, but I don't understand why and what I just did. I understood it when I applied them to the text labels as addressed in another thread and it made sense to me, but I don't get this and why it worked. :?

Center "Photo Not Available"

Is there a way to manipulate the spacing of "Photo Not Available." It is printing at the very top of the photo field off center slightly left and makes the page look awkward.

Thank you Jeff. I prefer that format. I am still having trouble printing nothing and eliminating the line when I don't have the information for a given member. I have tried that and I still get the slash.

I did not phrase my second question very well. Instead of the dates reading 07/09, I would prefer July 9 or even 9 July instead. I see I can do that and include the year (09 July 1995), but is there a way to do it without the year?
