Bruce, There is a notes section available just before printing the report. I use it for two additions: Total attendance (in number) and Total Offering. You could add lines for visitor's information here and then print it. What I've done to support the above is to save the format in a M$ Word documen...

I inquired of Crucial about my Gizmo 1Gb USB memory stick. Here's their technical answer along with the POC: The flag that controls whether the device is removable or not (the RMB) is set in the firmware of the driver. Unfortunately it is set to non-removable because, in essence, it is non-removable...

Go back to my original question from last November, but take out the reference to network drives. Especially these days, when: (1) the standard place for ALL [/i] applications is the C:\Program Files directory, and (2) the system security is set up to deny normal users read/write privileges in the ...

The easiest way to described this is using Sunday School as an example. In your Sunday School you could have several departments: Children (ages 1-5) Grade School (Grades 1 - 6) Youth (Grades 6-12) College & Singles Adults These could be your departments. By setting the type to Sunday School and as...

Not easily, I'm afraid. Maybe a split by categories options can be added in PC+10. However, a sort order and maintenance process will need to be added, before implementing sort and categorize. What I think you are looking for would be: Teacher: Jane Doe Teacher Assistant: Sally Jane Student: Harry ...

Now, you can have Young Adult Sunday School Class, associate each person to that activity AND designate their association: i.e. member, teacher, etc. What's also nice is that you can define the default role for an activity. In other words, you can set it as member, since you will probably have more...

Agreed, however, the date range can also mutually exclude the entry.

Brian, There is another possibilty: contributions entries way outside the current dates. It may take a little poking around by generating some reports, but would be worth the look. Worst case would be doing a database query. What I'm getting at is that a contribution could have been dated 7/15/2050 ...

Timothy, You can include the bar codes on the attendance report. On the Attendance Register Report, select whatever format you like (we use the last one) and then select the check box marked "Print Bar Codes." I may not be understanding your need for printing them on ID tags, perhaps you could share...

We're getting into the same situation. A looooong time ago (v.8 ), I set up a lot of skills/activities. Since v9 has been released, things are a bit easier albiet possibly more complicated. It used to be that for an activitity, you could only have one application; i.e. Young Adult Sunday School Clas...

That's an outstanding suggestion. You might want to send it to the wish list.

Just create it in Activities and Skills so you have access to the skill numbers. Edit the report as necessary.
Thanks, I'll have a look.

Printing Class Membership Names on Labels

I was wondering if PC has the ability to print a list of names on name tags (labels) for specific classes. We're just starting to use the Activities and Attendance modules, so this may be available and I've just not figured it out. We've just started with getting our Children's Church classes (four ...

Tracking Borrowed/Loaned Equipment

This can be added to the Good Idea list, I hope. :D How does your church/organization track the (temporary) removal and return of equipment? This can entail a ministry doing outreach and using the portable sound system, a family who is having a large gathering and borrowing folding chairs, a staff m...

When it makes a connection, do you get a test message across?

Make sure that you have the protocols pointing to the correct ports on the server.

Hope this helps,
