The labels are being addressed to the family because the "Print one label per household" box is checked on the Mailing Label Options screen. If you want individual labels to print for each child, simply uncheck this box when printing.

Mailing labels that you print from the Contributions > Print Mailing Labels screens give you the "Include envelope number" option.

Re: F2 key and release number

I am a former treasurer who installed the software years ago so am the first person current users ask when issues arise. To date, I have been fortunate to have the solutions. Last week, however, the F2 key ceased working when the bookkeeper tried to enter accounts payable and bring up the accounts....

"is not an empty field" will catch all the Y and N entries. Simply choosing "exactly matches: Y" should get the results you are looking for. Something to remember is that you can tag families as well as individuals. Envelope numbers are assigned to the individuals. Make sure that you are both taggin...

No, I have not tried disabling real-time virus scanning. It's an important security measure here. We don't suggest disabling anti-virus scanning altogether... Just let each machine scan itself, rather than having each machine also scan each machine on the network. There should be an easy to find op...

What OS are the workstations running?

Re: Reassign Vendor ID

Hi: Thanks for adding the "Reassign Vendor ID" feature. It is great for clearing out old duplicate vendors. I notice however that if a vendor id I want to reassign is close to the one I want to reassign it to, I get an error message saying "You have chosen same ID for both options, please choose a ...

Accounts in the wrong category are accounts that are numbered outside of the defined ranges of accounts. As an example, an Asset account with the number 2150-000 would be outside of the defined range of 1000-1999 for Assets. Take a look at a Chart of Accounts report and scan down through the far rig...

There isn't any difference with any of the PowerChurch Plus versions 7 and higher, or with different Windows versions. The local files have to be installed and registered, or you will get the error you mentioned.

Maybe someone had installed PC+ on the XP workstation from the CD at one point?

While an accounting background is beneficial, it certainly isn't required. We have done our best to make the setup and maintenance of all the different accounting functions in the program user-friendly and intuitive. If you stand back from it and let your eyes go , it may seem overwhelming at...

Have you run the Netsetup10 program on the Vista workstation yet? Browse out across the mapped drive, find Netsetup10.exe and run it. This will install and register all the DLLs and other system files locally that are needed to run PowerChurch Plus remotely. Also, it will place a proper shortcut on ...
