Re: huge gaps in QMF_Temp.xls?

PowerChurch should not export the data with the gaps. The gaps are probably a formatting behavior of Office 2010, or the up conversion from Excel 97 format.

Re: Default datafile location

On demand back up systems can temporarily lock files. This can prevent data from being properly written to them and corrupt your data.

Be sure the back routine runs when PowerChurch is inactive.

Re: Version 10 - 11/21/2011 Maintenance Release

That was released on the Jan 9th 2012.

Which also tells me that they're very busy and can't update the MR release notes :o

Re: Header for Contribution Statements

The emailed PDF documents should have the standard header on the report. This will include the Church/Charity name, address and phone number.

There is not a way to add images to the emailed statements.

Verify the date of the contributions on the report.

Re: Statements Full Fund Detail

The report is printing, however the detail is not, though the summary which is usually at the bottom is. I recall this was seen shortly after V9 was released. I'm certain the behavior was fixed in a later MR. Make sure you are running the latest MR . Then run the PC9CR85.EXE in the install directory...

Re: How can I change my bottom margine?

Most ink jet printers need 1/2 an inch to hold onto the paper while printing. If your labels are within that required margin, they won't print. I've seen a couple that needed nearly 3/4 of an inch.

Thank you for pointing this out. We'll get a MR out, hopefully next week, to correct this.

Re: Email update

If this is PowerChurch version 10, a file did not get distributed with the last Maintenance Release. There is one last planed MR for version 10 which this file will be included. To get past this before that MR download pc10email.exe and place it in the Install folder (default: c:\powerchurch\pcplus1...

Re: contribution statement error

It appears some controls have been removed by something on the system. Running NetSetup*.exe on the system should correct the errors. Depending on which version of PowerChurch you are using, this could be in the same folder as the PowerChurch executable or in the Install folder under it. Default: C:...

Re: W2 efile errors

NAME1 appears to be the Church name field. It looks like an extra space between words will return as invalid data.

Re: 11.5 Uprade issues

The Check In server executable (pcserver11.exe) should have a file version of 11.2011.3320. This is the latest release for the Check In server.

Re: W2 efile errors

From what I heard, the W2 is required to be filed electronically by 1 state. The Federal and other states have the requirement when the number of employees is equal to or higher than a set number. Each state may be different. The City, State, and Zip need to be on a single line in the system. You ma...

Re: Version 11 - 12/06/2011 Maintenance Release

It will complete after 30 minutes.
I see the problem in the code and it will be corrected. The next MR will behave the same way. The one that follows should complete in a more timely fashion.
