Re: Download to Adobe Crashes PowerChurch

Do you see an error message, or is the window closing when save as PDF? I suspect the window is closing. This could be the result of an antivirus/malware detection program is detecting a file is attempting to open an unsigned older version PDF file. Does PowerChurch also close if you try to Print a ...

Re: Emailing Contribution Statements

That process does not use a local email client.
There is a problem with the configuration, either in PowerChurch or the SMTP server.

Re: Missing Newsletters

Do you print the email report out after sending the newsletter?
This will show if the emails are not going out due to a server error.

Re: Emailing Contribution Statements

The message is being returned from the SMTP server, PowerChurch is printing this on the report after you attempt to send the report. If the Hardware/Software person has set up an internal Exchange server you are using, it isn't allowing relaying from internal SMTP clients. We don't have specific ins...

Re: Database updates & viewing with multiple users

(Version 11 with maintenance releases) Our church now has two users entering in membership info into the database, which is stored on a separate computer (our "server"). We are finding that only one can be in at a time doing updates. When one person is updating, the other can type but then at the s...

Re: Print Labels in Check-In

1/ How do you print labels in check-in? The Dymo Software needs to be installed on the workstation. We have found the version needs to be 8.2.1 or higher. This installs the software required to see and print to the Dymo printer. You'll be able to see and select the Dymo printer as default in the Ki...

Re: First group header doesn't print

If I recall correctly, place a field in the page header or report header to get this to function. Changing the foreground color to white, or setting the print when property to 1=0 is need on that field to prevent it from printing.

Re: BarCode Scanning - Family Name Lookup

There are three files to look at for version information. On the server, the pcserver11.exe, which defaults to c:\powerchurch\pcserver\. On the kiosk, the pckiosk.exe and pckiosk11.exe, which default to c:\powerchurch\checkin. Right click on the EXE file, select Properties, select the Details tab. T...

Re: CHANGE FONT??

The Dymo printer will change the fonts dynamically depending on the amount of information.
A name such as Tom will be the same height as Jarrod. Though Maureen or Mary Jo Ashely may cause them to be smaller to fit width wise.
Spaces are trimmed from the names before sending them to the label.

Re: Kiosk only lists "Default" label set.

What is on the specific type label in the default set, is what is available. Meaning: What you see on default.lwl is what is available for the name tag. What you see on default_smallbag.lwl is what is available for the small bag label. The small bag label is used in the twin turbo printer as the rig...

Re: Kiosk only lists "Default" label set.

Are there any specific 'labels' that can be used when customizing the label. There is nothing stopping you from using any Dymo label after you customize the settings. You are limited to the information given. There are requirements when working with the labels. The fields have unique names which ar...
