From what I can tell over the years travel for the minister has either been paid at the current IRS mileage rate or the budget has included an annual budget and the minister was paid 1/12 of the budget each month. It is the income and expense accounts that impact the equity or fund balances. When you set up a new income or expense account, PC+ asks what equity account this should "close to". For clarification: Lottie Moon in this example is set up as a pass-through account. In other words, the money came in and went right back out to the designated purpose. Still, I need to reflect the fact that it "passed through" on the financial statement that I present to the church for this month....

Have you checked the Wage and Hour Report ?? You have the options for various date ranges, or a defined range of dates.
