Need Help With Contribution "Add Contributor"
Please answer this question: Why can't I add a "contributor" to an existing family? We have husbands and wives visiting who donate to us separately (each w/their own checks). Why do I have to create two families for them? As a data entry person, I have only "Access" rights to the Membership Profiles...

Duplicate Profiles / Families
We have a big issue of duplicate profiles and families that we need help solving. Side One: We have several "Data Entry" clerks that enter contributions on Sundays following service. These clerks also has "Access" priviledges to the Membership module. Because of other issues, these clerks can't be a...

The issue with the sorting has been addressed in the latest v10 Maintenance Release, dated 4/3/2007. Newly added roles will appear at the top of your previously sorted list. Wow! Thank you very much! :-) Is it possible to sort these roles and then somehow apply this sorting to others who also print...

As a follow on to Neil's questions, are all these roles used in Sunday School Classes? You will only need to resort the roles if you add a new role to be included in the attendance register forms. Thanks, Jeff for your question and response. You are exactly correct in your analysis. This is the exa...

Quick question ... do you have these 'roles' setup by activity department, and type ?? And are these assigned to each person under each activity ?? Yes. And, had I put this question/issue out here earlier, your response was what we needed back then as we had to revisit these roles/types/depts on se...

Another Attendance Register Form Question
We use the Attendance Register Form (ARF) as a sign-in sheet for tracking attendance. Power Church, v10 allowes us to sort by Roles but each time we add a new role, we have to resort our many roles. This is a very painstaking process. Is there anyway to save the sorting even after adding a new role?...

Daylight Saving Time - March 11th!!!
Daylight Saving Time is now set to occur at 2am, March 11th this year. New laws in 2005; effective in 2007 will pull forward by 4 weeks DST. What impact, if any, will this change have on Power Church? For those concerned, here is an article on the topic and Microsoft's update patches for their OS's....

Calendar File Formats
As you know maintaining an effective calendar can be an awesome task, esp. when there are many ministries in place that are doing all sorts of things. Our secretary maintains the main church calendar in a variety of formats. Our website's calendar is a great place to post. However, our poor secretar...

PC identified the source of the problem and has corrected it. This resolution will be included with the first maintenance release of v10. The immediate fix is to simply copy your v9 pictures folder contents to your v10 pictures folder Since PCP Profiles only contain the photo name in the format of #...

Just spoke to tech support and they will need to look at my data. However, they had me to reindex/re-convert. No photos. Then they had me copy my pictures from v9 to v10 and since PCP's profiles only lists the photo file name in this particular folder, this solved the problem. But for some reason th...

I experienced a problem with no photos being converted. Actually there appears a small number of our photos in the data\pictures folder, but they are not linked to any of the profiles. My photos total in size around 29MB. I placed a call to tech support and am awaiting a callback. However, if I went...
