How Long Should I Keep Member Records?
I'd like to jump in with a related question. How long until the current database has "historical data? After 20 years I could see having a lot of ""graduated members." If someone is marked deceased, are they remove from all mailings?

Re: July Postings
Hi, Apparently I'm missing something here... July postings are not being posted. Do I have to go forward a month, or something? PowerChurch Plus 11.55 Thanks. Debby If you go to your working month and try to change it do you have the option of setting it to July? If not you will need to close a mon...

Re: Printing reports to OneNote
Are you talking about the standardized reports ?? I don't think you're going to find any such a setting. Due to issues with the report writer software (a third party tool) when they tried to move to a newer version, the developers had to revert to a version that does not recognize what OneNote is. ...

I would like to print directly from PC to OneNote but the top half of our church name is cut off in OneNote. I cant find a setting to address it. Can someone help resolv...

Re: Erasing Attendance Data?
I'm glad I found this. Forgot to do a backup before playing with attendance. Now all is well again. And I did a backup and am going to do another now that it is fixed.

Re: Error message
When you get that message do you have a view unposted contributions window open? If you do you might get that message. In Funds accountion I've seen the same message many times for that or a similar reason.

Re: Release Funds
We budget a certain amount for our missionaries each month. If someone designates part of their offering to missionaries it is added to the budgeted amount. I made the missionary payments as a repeating item in accounts payable. Each missionary organization is a separate transaction. I have a $10.00...

Re: Allocating funds within the Budget
If you go into Maintain Chart of Accounts you can set up your budget but it is only by month. IF you look at Reports in Funds accounting you can print out your chart of accounts to see what is the program default and see if it will do what you need. Neil gave you good advice also.

Re: Help in Sterling IL?
I am in Polo, about 17 miles away. Do you have specific questions or just need general guidance to start? Are you familiar with accounting? I am not so I muddle my way through. I would first read the manual. Especially the part about getting started and setup. IN fact I recommend reading it a couple...

Re: Had to chuckle!
 I was going to run a Contribution Fund Summary report when I noticed some of the options in the drop down were for Next Month and Next Year. I wonder what kind of time warp one of the developers must have been in to need that option! Sounds like they reused a widget from the Funds Accounting ...
