Re: Void Week Contribution
It's my first reconsile in PowerChurch or ever. So it's both confusing and irritating. The big thing is ONLY check off deposits and checks that you see on the bank statement. Clear the "C" from all the deposits. Then go through each deposit on the statement, and match it to the bank statement, then...

Re: Void Week Contribution
PowerChurch is saying we have more than the bank. I'm ensured the starting balance and went through every transaction on the statement. Could a transfer transaction causes this? Maybe when I did the setup, I messed up there.

Re: Void Week Contribution
Hi, As I went to reconsile today, I've not that I have entered my first contributions deposit wrong. I need to void it, and re-enter them all. It has been posted to funds accounting. If I just reverse the transaction, will that take care of the contributions side? In one word .. NOPE. You have to g...

Re: Contribution & Camp Payments
I guess what I'm wondering is would it be acceptable to enter all of the income from Basketball camp using the cash in plate account. When our members tithe online, I always attach it to them in contributions.

Re: Non-Cash Donation
I'll type up the letter for him. Thanks for all of your help Neil. Your help has been invaluable to me and, even though they don't know it, our church. You have a good ministry on here helping churches like ours. Our church wouldn't be to the place we are today had it not been for your guidance and ...

Re: Non-Cash Donation
Hi, We had a guy in our church purchase a new sound board for us with his own money. How should I go about giving him credit for this donation? Is it just a letter for the donation of the item? He didn't give the money to the church first, he went and purchased the item on his own with his own mone...

Early Paycheck
Neil, Need you advice on this. Our Youth Pastor is going out of town next week and wanted me to print his paycheck early. He wants his check for the period of the 23rd -29th to have a check date of the 27th so he can cash the check on the road. So, effectively, he would receive two paychecks this we...
