Hello PowerChurch users:
My name is Randal and I am the Treasurer of a mid-sized church here in Toronto, Canada. We have an excellent bookkeeper who, sadly, will be retiring at the end of the year. We are looking for someone with PowerChurch experience to fill this role.
Our bookkeeper posts transactions on PowerChurch, manages our small monthly payroll through a service bureau, and prepares our monthly financial statements on PowerChurch. He or she is supported by our Office Manager who pays our bills by printing cheques on PowerChurch, our Envelope Secretary who records our offerings on PowerChurch, and by our Treasurer who takes the financial statements from PowerChurch and prepares the necessary statements and reports for our church and the Canada Revenue Agency. The bookkeeper is part time role that will typically take 100 - 150 hours per year. The bookkeeper works remotely and does not have to come into the church office. We are pretty flexible in working together and have been told we're fun to work with!
