Can the database backup from Power Church Online be restored to Power Church Plus (assuming same release level)?

Yes, if it's the same version running in PowerChurch Online and the desktop PowerChurch Plus, then you can restore backups between them.

We don't generally recommend relying on that too heavily and recommend everyone using PowerChurch to use the same version (meaning if you have PowerChurch Online, use that). Too much backing up and restoring between the two would sidestep the biggest benefit of the online version.

Thanks for the reply. I am thinking of making the Online version the "production" version, but being able to restore a backup of the Online to the desktop version for testing, training, or developing new uses without threat to the online production database
