Cannot email from powerchurch

I have PowerChurch Version 9 and use Outlook for email and when I try to e-mail from powerchurch I get an error that connection failed. I verified the SMTP address with my DSL provider and it is correct and the email addresses are correct. I set up the email information in Powerchurch.

What happened when you tried the test on the Email setup ?? Running this test will give some additional debugging information.

Your email server isn't expecting a password, and you're supplying one. Turn off "my server requires authentication" and see if that helps.
