frm_aada.dataenvironment.cursor2 - aropen.dbf not found

Post by mikesg »

PC 10.4 says \\server\pcplus10\aropen.dbf not found when clicking on Integrated Data Entry. The file isn't there, but does exist in the data folder. All my backups show this too, so I'm not sure why PC is choking now or why it's looking in the pcplus10 folder. I've disabled all AV on the server and test clients trying to trouble shoot this. Clients are mixed XP/Vista 32bit, all have the same problem. Server is Win2K3 32bit. Cannot think of any changes other than just installed the latest maintenance patch but it was working fine with it until a couple hours ago. Help! :)

Bah, the file wasn't in the data folder. Don't know how I missed it the first time. Slapping self with clue after restoring the file from backup. Feel free to delete this thread.

OK, well, in Accounts Receivable now when clicking Maintain Open Reports I get this:

PROGRAM: opentables
LINE: 8
ERROR: 5
MESSAGE: Record is out of range

So, help again! :)

A reindex should fix this up.

Utilities > Reindex > All Files

Oh, snap. I was thinking of that too, but ended up just restoring from the previous nights backup after talking to everyone and they said it would only take a few minutes to get caught up. Good to know though, thanks for the reply!
