Having problems with our PowerChurch software here at our church. What happened, was we have our Powerchurch software networked on one computer, but someone took it upon themselves to create a local, C: Drive version of Powerchurch on another computer.
Now, we have about two and a half months of unposted contributions on one computer, and we need to get it into the powerchurch on the networked MAIN computer.
You know how church folk are. The ladies say, Blame it on the men, LOL
Can anyone please advise what to do?

1. By posting, I'm assuming you mean posting contributions data to Funds Accounting.
2. No new membership data has been added on the non-networked computer, and no new envelopes assigned to new contributors. That is, has anyone been added and/or an envelope number issued to anyone on either system in the past 2 1/2 months ??
The answer on how to move the envelope data depends on your answer to my #2.
And if I have stated your problem correctly in my #!, the answer follows:
Posting contributions over to Funds Accounting. This is the real easy part, instead of posting directly to Funds Accounting just select the Post to Funds Accounting via File selection on the Post Contributions dialog. This will write that data to a file, that you can save locally or on the network, and import into Accounting. NOTE: The dialog will ask you what accounting month you want these posted to. You can only post the entries to one accounting month, so I assume you want the current month so at least Accounting will be up to date.
Finally some suggestions:
1. Find the Powerchurch CD, and lock it away so no one can again create a standalone computer.
2. Take away administrative rights to (what I assume is) the shared userid on that computer so no one can add any new programs without approval of the administrator.
3. Inform the ladies that the Wrath of God, or the Trustees (whoever is more feared) will be on the heads of anyone doing such a thing again
