Remember me (auto-login)
Ummmm, has anything changed in PC+ that would cause the "Remember me" feature to no longer work? I used to be able to close out my browser (Firefox) and the next time I opened it, went to the PC+ site, and clicked on Forum, I would be automatically logged in. That doesn't happen anymore and I'm trying to determine if it's something on PC+'s side, Firefox's, or just some weird operator error going on here.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Make sure that you don't have your privacy settings clearing cookies when you leave Firefox. The forum places a cookie that has your user name and the "stay logged in" information. If next time you come back, the forum doesn't remember you, it's because that cookie is no longer there.
Take a look in the Privacy settings in Firefox and set an exception for powerchurch.com in the allowed cookies list.

Thanks so much! I've just recently been "educated" in how to manage cookies so it may be that I've learned just enough to be dangerous!Zorak wrote:Make sure that you don't have your privacy settings clearing cookies when you leave Firefox. I'll look into the privacy settings when I get back on that computer.

When I opened PC+ today I found myself logged out (and I don't log out when I leave PC+; I either open another site on top of PC+ of just close the tab or the entire window).
I guess I just won't worry about it ....
Thanks, all --
Eden

Went back in and cleared out cache and all the cookies and started over and -- what do you know? -- the auto-login feature works again!!!Eden Whitehead wrote: Well, I changed the cookie settings and it didn't help!
