Got a question or comment about PowerChurch that doesn't belong anywhere else? Why not post it here!?

Version 10 versus version 9

Post by mikethekey »

How big a difference is there in the user interface between these two versions.

My concern is the retraining of the users.

Their is really little UI difference between 9 & 10, even the pictures are the same. If you want to take a look at 10, we can send you a demo, or you can check out the PC Online demo at http://mypowerchurch.com/

Here are some of the bigger UI differences:

Quick tasks which is a user customizable task list for the things they do most often.

PowerChurch Today, which shows quick information a user may want to know when PC+ starts like birthdays in the next 2 weeks, current balance of the checking account, etc.

Events module - New module for the room scheduling and calendar.

Other than that the changes were not massive rewrites of UI, so current users should not have a big shock switching from version 9 to 10.

A more complete list of feature changes in 10 can be found at http://www.powerchurch.com/features/upgrade/
