Despite what you might think from my prior posts Neil,,,,, I really do appreciate your continuing effort to help with our issue.

Forgive my rant ... as a user, I can understand your frustration. As a former programmer, I can understand the limitations on the Powerchurch side.BGUMC wrote:Despite what you might think from my prior posts Neil,,,,, I really do appreciate your continuing effort to help with our issue.

Re: E-mail function error
So, I'm just curious...
Is there a fix or not. I'm experiencing the same problem. If I read between the lines here, it sounds like an ISP issue, perhaps, maybe???
Thanks!

Re: E-mail function error
Who is your e-mail provider?
Re: E-mail function error
I can send a single e-mail with no trouble. However when I attempt to send a bulk e-mail (37 messages), I get a message saying that there is no internet connection. What do I need to check/correct?

Re: E-mail function error
When you say you can send a single email, is this from the button on the personal profile screen? Or is this from bringing up a report and clicking the email button in the preview toolbar?SNUMC wrote:I can send a single e-mail with no trouble. We have seen many times a local firewall software blocks communication of all outgoing emails except from known email clients (i.e. Outlook, Thunderbird). What is the exact message? If you are on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 you should be able to press the Ctrl+C when that message is brought up to copy it to your clipboard.

I'd also check to see if your email was ever setup in Powerchurch.
As Tracy mentions, single emails actually use Outlook to send emails, the multiple address emails use the internal email routines.
