I am the Church Secretary at First Baptist Church of Counce, TN. I have been here since April of this year and i'm needing to order the Offering Envelopes and was wondering if anyone could give me tips on where to get those or how i need to go about ordering them. Also, if there is anything special i need to do in the system to close out the year. Also, if anyone can give me tips on how to set up writing checks on here and how to order the checks. At this time our financial system is set up to write checks manually and i'm wanting to put it on this system.
Thanks,
Jennifer Templeton

1. You can find church envelopes by doing a Google search on 'church envelopes'. There are a number of companies that offer this type of product. That said, you don't need to use envelopes just assign a number to the members to track their contributions. That said, envelopes do tend to make entry easier, and are a good reminder to the member.
2. There is nothing special in contributions to close out the year. That said, there are some things you may want to do in Funds Accounting, and for that I advise getting some advice from a bookkeeper or CPA in your congregation.
You may also want to review the online tutorials that are available here:

they go over many of the functions you may use in Powerchurch.
