Pocket PC compatibility
Currently, Pocket PowerChurch is only available for Palm Powered Handhelds (running Palm OS 3 or higher). Pocket PC is not currently supported, but it's something we're looking into.
If you desire Pocket PC compatibility, please send an email to wishlist@powerchurch.com to let us know this is a feature you wish to see implemented. This address goes straight to our Program Development department.
For further information, check out our website at http://www.powerchurch.com/pda.
Thanks!

additional modules
Do you know if there are any plans to add additional modules besides the mailing lists to Pocket PowerChurch (such as some of the financial)? I am the finance chair, and it would be nice to be able to refer to the data on our server from my Sony Clie'.

Financial Data in Pocket PowerChurch
Currently, only Family Mailing List, Personal Profiles, and Visitations are available in Pocket PowerChurch. To my knowledge, there are no plans to include accounting data, but that's the sort of thing they love to hear about at wishlist@powerchurch.com. We do try to listen to user suggestions!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Re: additional modules
It is my understanding that the initial release of the pocket PC was made with expansion in mind. As it is right now it is real simple and only supports the Palm OS. I have heard that other Handheld devices could possibly supported as well as other modules and features. For requests you should make your interests known and forward suggestions to their development department at wishlist@powerchurch.comJay wrote:Do you know if there are any plans to add additional modules besides the mailing lists to Pocket PowerChurch (such as some of the financial)? Re: additional modules
Jay, Pocket PowerChurch was designed primarily to give mobile access to contact information in PowerChurch Plus, not as a replacement for it.Jay wrote:Do you know if there are any plans to add additional modules besides the mailing lists to Pocket PowerChurch (such as some of the financial)? The best way currently to do what you want to do, is to run your accounting reports and save them as a excel files. My Clie came with a copy of Documents To Go http://www.dataviz.com/ which should allow you to read the file. I just tried this with the Income and Expense statement, and was able to get it to work. You might loose some formatting, but the information does go accross. Hope this helps.
