We have a daughter church operating in a nearby city and they are not large enough to have their own charitable tax number, etc. We would like to be able to run their accounting through our Power Church, so that tax receipts can be issued, etc. However, we would like to keep all their accounts separate under our "umbrella".
Is something like this possible through PowerChurch and if so, how do I do it?

Re: Adding Second Location
This can be running afoul of the Powerchurch Terms of Use agreement. If the church is another campus, but one that uses the same pastor, same governing board, etc. Then Powerchurch can be used for this second campus.ivycottage wrote:We have a daughter church operating in a nearby city and they are not large enough to have their own charitable tax number, etc. We would like to be able to run their accounting through our Power Church, so that tax receipts can be issued, etc. However, we would like to keep all their accounts separate under our "umbrella".

If it is a completely different church, with separate pastor, staff, and so on, then they would need their own copy of Powerchurch.
That said, you CAN install Powerchurch to another directory by changing the location during the install, and then you can maintain their membership, contributions and accounting data separately.
However, that seems to be a lot of work considering that the church is in another city. They really should have their own copy and all that maintained at that location.
