Manual on line?

Post by sailman »

Is the PCP manual available for viewing and/or downloading on line? I could not find it.

It is actually in the program. Just hit the F1 key or go into the Help menu at the top of the screen.

Unfortunately I'm at home and can not access PCP remotely. I guess I will have to drive into church.

Another thought: Does the license agreement permit me to load PCP on my computer at home, load some test data, and work with it that way just to try and get some reports workable the way we want them? I realize I would have to then duplicate all the settings on the computer at church.

The Powerchurch site license allows the installation of Powerchurch on any computer as long as that copy of Powerchurch is being used to support that church.

What you can do is install Powerchurch on your local computer, then install of backup of the church database to that local installation. In this way you have all the data you will need to test with.

I take it that you are going to create custom reports ?? When you're done creating those reports you can then export the custom reports to a CD or thumb drive, and restore them to the church system.
