printing special characters (french accents "i.e. é, à...)

Just want to know if version 11 corrected the problem with printing the special characters.

Version 11 still uses the same printing routines that were introduced mid V9. So, probably not.

OK... version 9 was able to print the french accents.... Problem came with version 10. Anyone with version 11, would you please try to see in membership reports if "René" prints as is or if it prints "ren+"?

In the initial release of Version 9, we upgraded to a newer version of Crystal Reports, which supported Unicode characters. This broke the reports for a large number of our customers at that point. We spent months trying to resolve the issue, but eventually had to give up and rolled Crystal Reports back to an older version. This happened in a Maintenance Release for Version 9 in March, after it originally released in September.

OK... How about the "french" customers

So far, I have been exporting data and working around with it in excel... But with donation receipts, it's not possible

I am sure "french" customers have the same problem... Would you please tell me how to print reports using the french accents?

Anyone using the french accents, please give me a hint as well

Our church in Panama just bought Powerchurch Plus 11, and we were dismayed to discover that it won't allow the use of Spanish accents and markings! The world is getting smaller, Powerchurch; please don't give up on fixing this issue!

Unfortunately, its not a Powerchurch issue, but an issue with the third-party reporting system that the program uses, which the third-party has determined will not be fixed. They told them "Upgrade to the new version", problem is, the new version broke major printing and reports, so they had to go back to the previous version.
