Using Multiple Computers

Post by tcarr »

Can you tell me how I share the database in my office so that it can be used on an additional computer? Thanks for your help.

Two questions:

1. Are your computers on a local network?
2. What version of Powerchurch are you using?

If the answer to Q1 is YES:

Follow this procedure, its for v11:
https://www.powerchurch.com/support/kb.php?id=35&type=1

The version may determine where to find the 'netsetupxx.exe' program. If you have version 10.4, I'd check the networking section of your manual. If you don't have your manual or can't find it, bring up the program and check the online help contents, there is a section there that will assist you.

If the answer to Q1 is NO:

then we'll have additional questions as to what you're planning to do on the second computer.

FWIW ... PCPlus is one of a very few that does not charge an extra fee per 'seat'. That's a PLUS in anyone's book !!
