It's hard to track down something that I am unable to reproduce.
When you get an error like this one "Crystal Report Viewer not Implemented, error code 0x80004002" help us do some detective work.
If you can reproduce this after a shutdown which powers off of the computer, please send a message to support@powerchurch.com.
include the following:
Registration number
What programs are shown in the systray
A capture of the error message
What anti-virus software is installed on the computer
Windows version (Win98, ME, XP, etc...)
How much RAM is installed in the computer
What printer is the default printer for the system
What video adapter is installed in the system
Sometimes problems can present themselfs in applications that do not have a problem, but the system does. When you reinstall from CD and the problem goes away, might be due to the install correcting a problem with the Windows Registry. The problem with the Registry may have occured prior to installing the maintenance release but did not make itself evident until installing the MR. I'm not saying the MR did not create the problem, nor am I confirming it did. I'm hoping to make others aware there are multiple factors why things burp. It's like getting caught by every red light when you are late for an appointment, if the cat hadn't left that gift on the kitchen floor for you to clean up, had you remembered to plug in the coffee maker, had the phone not rang this morning, had you not dripped the jelly on to your shirt, etc... you might have gotten every traffic light green instead of red. We don't like it when these type of problems crop up, your assistance and patience while we track them down helps us.

There could be an issue with a filename that is a duplicate of something McAfee thinks is spyware.LeroyJ wrote:I just had a re-occurance of this problem, however I think the cause has been found. I have had this happen several times and just realized that each time it happend I has swpet my system with McAfee spyware. Is ther something in crystal reports that attracts it

FWIW ... try using the free Ad-Aware and Spybot-Search and Destroy for spyware. Much better and they are kept up-to-date more often then the McAfee.
