Got a question or comment about PowerChurch that doesn't belong anywhere else? Why not post it here!?

Problems with V9

Post by Al Yanik »

We installed V9 last week, and immediately noticed a great slowdown in the report sections of the Accounting & Contributions modules. We have run Powerchurch for over 6 years, last version was V8 and we have been running it on Windows 98. Anyone else experiencing this problem with V9??
Also, question for PC... Can we change default print size on reports screens from full page width to 100%... Very difficult to read the numbers on screen in full page width font.. Thx for any assistance..

I've seen this problem on machines with Win98 and 64/128 MB of RAM. It is actually a problem with the newer version of Crystal Reports that the PC+ developers had to move to. I beleve the version they were using was going out of support.

This problem does not exist on the Pentium 4 machines we have with 512 MB or higher RAM running WinXP. I suspect that is due more to the extra RAM and processor speed, than Win XP.

Using PC+ since 1999.
