New Computer - Thinking about using a Mac

I am needing to upgrade my computer and I was thinking about switching to Mac. I am currently running Power Church 11.5 and use Windows 7. I do know and realize that Power church is a windows based software program, but does it work well in a virtual environment. I would be using either parallels or fusion and Windows seven . What are the general thoughts about using Mac versus using Windows and what are the problems that most people face if they make the change to Mac? Thanks!

I use a Macbook Pro, and run Windows 7 inside Parallels, and I have not experienced any problems.
