PowerChurch Today window not populating

My PowerChurch Today window is not populating with any data on the computer at the church. It just displays the Loading... indication and has no data in it unless I do the following. If I reindex and then reopen the PowerChurch today window the data will load. This seems to happen every time I open the program. It is not happening on my computer at home with the same data. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

I seem to remember you're on 11.5, what version of Windows are you on, and are you running client/server??

I am on 11.5 and running Window XP on the machine that is giving me the problem. The machine is the server and no one else was logged in from any of the clients. My home machine - which seems to work fine is running Window 7.

This problem has cropped up again today. The PowerChurch today window indicates that it is loading but no data comes in. This time a reindex did not resolve the problem. I also closed the PC Today window and reopened it with no positive result. Clicking on both of the refresh buttons had no effect either. The only solution was to close PC+ and reopen it. This is an XP machine being used as the server with no other users logged in. PC+ version 11.5

does anyone actually use the server to do any work ?? If not, and everything else is working, I wouldn't worry about it.

That said ..

how much memory is on that computer, is it up to date with all the MS fixes, etc etc etc.

The office computer is used for the server, so yes it is actually used by both me and the Secretary. I am probably the only one who cares about the PowerChurch Today window however. The computer has 2 gigs of ram. Not sure about the up to date fixes, it is on Service Pack 3. Are they still issuing updates for XP?

Just security fixes ... and .NET Framework updates.

Just wanted to say that mine is doing the same thing. The last date it populated was May 21st. I like the PowerChurch today. I always scan it for topics that might be useful for me that day.

What version of Powerchurch, and version of Windows are you using? Have you installed any Maintenance Releases lately ??
