I am sending a group e-mail out of profiles. I do this all the time with no problems. Today I am getting all email addresses as errors when sending. Connection to servor failed, connection rate too high, try again later, domain of sender address does not accept inbound mail - these are the error messages. Please help....Elida Jacobs
Re: E-mail
The first is an error that says the mail system couldn't connect, the rest are all errors being generated from your ISP. Not sure where you are, but I'm having problems getting an email from someone using the local Comcast connections. I'm suspecting the minus temperatures we're seeing here.elidajacobs wrote:I am sending a group e-mail out of profiles. I do this all the time with no problems. I would see what happens in a day or two. If you're still having problems, please write down the EXACT error message, that would help.

Re: E-mail
I just tested an e-mail to myself from the profile in membership - this was the error:
The SMTP Servor reported an error code 451;4.1.8. DOmain of sender does not accept inbound mail (R0307001)
This may help. I am in Colorado. No colder than usual here! Haha.....

Re: E-mail
OK .. what is the domain name of the church email, and the email you were trying to send to. You are sending from the church right ?elidajacobs wrote:I just tested an e-mail to myself from the profile in membership - this was the error:

So, the church domain is TBCgunnison.com, and you were sending to Gmail. Are the other email addresses you were seeing issues with Gmail also ??

Re: E-mail
No it is with all e-mails in our data base with PC - every person I sent to
Re: E-mail
This sounds more like an issue with your ISP than with Powerchurch. I would check to with them to make sure that your Powerchurch mail settings are still correct.elidajacobs wrote:No it is with all e-mails in our data base with PC - every person I sent to

Re: E-mail
Neil,
I am surprised you didn't say something about not posting a personal email address here.
I would suggest that you and elidajacobs purge the address out of the post.
