We are trying to switch to an all MAC system, however the PowerChurch Software is PC only. We were able to get the PowerChurch to work through Crossover, however the F2 feature no longer works to pull up the Funds. We are also unable to pull any reports even though Acrobat Reader is installed. Any one have any ideas on how to resolve these issues???
Thanks

Re: Trouble using PowerChurch on MAC
The easiest way to fix this is to move to Powerchurch Oniine, this will resolve any OS issues as there is a native MAC client. There was another user who was having the same problem, and this is the route they took.parkside wrote:We are trying to switch to an all MAC system, however the PowerChurch Software is PC only. This move would save you a lot of headaches.

Re: Trouble using PowerChurch on MAC
To get the F2 key to work, you will most likely have to press a modifier key (like fn) on the mac keyboard to get it pass the function key to the applications. Macs like to use the function keys to control the hardware by default. You will need to consult the CrossOver documentation on how to do this.
As far as printing, PowerChurch needs to have a default printer installed. You will need to see how to specify that in CrossOver.
CrossOver looks like it may be based on WINE which is a windows emulator and not a full installation of Windows. It is not a supported environment from us, so we won't be able to help much in getting it working.
As Neil suggested, our supported solution for a mac is PowerChurch Online.

Re: Trouble using PowerChurch on MAC
I have been using PC+ on a Mac for several years now, with no issues. Yes, you have to use the fn key to grab Function Keys. I should add, I use Parallels as a VM tool.
