We have just encountered a serious error today that will NOT let us open our PCPlus 11.1 at all!
When We try to run PCPlus11 (from our server PC or from any networked user machine), a Windows error message pops up with the following:
PROGRAM: PCSSETTINGS.LOADSETTING
LINE: 93
ERROR: 41
MESSAGE: Memo file C:\POWERCHURCH\PCPLUS11\DATA\PCINFO.FPT is missing or invalid
I've looked into the DATA folder and there IS a PCINFO.FPT file present, containing 45 KB of data.
I've tried re-installing PCPLus 11 (after backing up our entire folder) but that doesn't not repair or fix the issue, but simply reinstalls a clean copy of PCPlus 11.
Can someone please advise?
What does that PCINFO.FPT data file contain? How can I repair it or resolve this?
Thanks!

Re: Error with PCINFO.FPT file.
I believe that file contains all the registration information, as well as the user permission setup. If you have a good, recent Powerchurch backup, here's what you should do:
1. Uninstall PCPlus from the server, along with all data.
2. Reinstall PCPlus to the server, select 'new install when you restart the program. You will need your registration number (you do still have your original shipping box, right ??). The program will then create new data tables
3. Restore from the backup
4. You should now have a good installation.
5. Run the netsetup11.exe program from every networked computer to re-establish the network setups.
However, if you don't have a recent backup ... you need to call Powerchurch Support via phone.
