I'm posting this to offer tips for anyone who may need to produce PDF reports.
The key is using "PDFsuite" software from http://www.software995.com which can be free. Free if you tolerate some "nag" ads that pop up. I find them tolerable, but if I continue using the software, I'll definitely purchase. The price is good anyway. $29.95.
I save most reports to PDF files in PowerChurch. Some accounting reports produce too many page breaks, thus wasting much paper. I export them to Excel .xls files , remove page breaks, edit, and print them to a PDF file using PDF995..
The PDFSuite software includes PDF995 which is a print driver that allows you to create a PDF file from almost any program simply by printing to the "PDF995" driver. It's very easy.
The PDF Edit software will allow you to combine separate PDF files into one PDF file in any order that you want. I combine all of the separate PDF files into one PDF document.
Another function of the software is that it will put page numbers on the LAST PDF FILE printed. So, after loading the one combined file in Adobe Acrobat, I print the file back out to another PDF file using the PDF995 print driver. Then that is my last file printed. The PDFEdit software then will put page numbers in that file.
PDFEdit will not permit actual text editing in the PDF document. I think it is supposed to allow editing of it as an image, but I have not tried that.
This technique gets around some of the problems with not being able to export to and edit Word documents.

That's a nice suggestion, Ronz, but hopefully the exporting issues will be fixed with the next maintenance release.
In the meantime, you might want to check your Chart of Accounts to see about removing some of the page breaks that you're trying to work around. If you look at the last account on the page where you get the break, you should be able to look up that account and uncheck the box "Page Break after account." That may help.
Thanks!
