With no changes to the server or the 2 laptops trying to log onto the server (one Sunday and one Monday), we received: The path"\\server\pcplus\PCPLUS11\" does not exist.
Any thoughts on why this would happen, what can be done to fix it, and what can be done to keep this from happening again?

Re: Sudden Path Problems
This is a networking problem. Any Windows or antivirus updates?John Dykema wrote:With no changes to the server or the 2 laptops trying to log onto the server (one Sunday and one Monday), we received: The path"\\server\pcplus\PCPLUS11\" does not exist.

You may want to check all the Networking permissions on the server. If the network is using a 'simple' share, make sure that the laptops have proper 'maps' to the shared drive on the server.
That said, have you tried to shut down the server and the laptops, bring the server up, then the laptops. Often a 'reboot' solves some issues.

Re: Sudden Path Problems
You are correct. I had to call the company that manages our ID to have them remap a path.
