I installed PC+9 on Monday and then ran netsetup9.exe on 5 additional networked PCs. The server and 4 of the 5 networked PCs are now able to access PC+9. One is not. I get an error message stating that I should reinstall the app. I have unstalled PC+ network, rebooted and rerun netsetup9.exe and still get the error message.
I have already checked that I am running the latest release of PC+v9 (11/11/05) but I noticed that the PC that does not work is running MDAC 2.8 while the others, including the Win98 "server" are running MDAC 2.7. I am not sure this will fix the problem and am hesitant to upgrade MDAC until I receive a reply from you as I don't want to break the ones that are working right now.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Debbie

Quick question, what is the operating system on the machine that is not loading? Also, what is the date on the netsetup9.exe program itself.jccdgcone wrote:I installed PC+9 on Monday and then ran netsetup9.exe on 5 additional networked PCs. There was an update to that program, but not knowing when you received your install CD, you could have an older version. I'm fairly sure the newer version is dated 09/16/04
