Please remember to permanently save a full backup copy of the Power Church version that the original records were created in.
For example if they were created in 8.5, save a copy of 8.5, as 9 cannot read 8.5 backups.
When first setup, 9 can convert earlier version files to 9, but after that it cannot be done. Its wise to save full versions of any previous version of Power Church that you used, as you never can tell when some of the older files might be needed.
With hard drives the size they are today, there is no need to worry about having enough disk space
