Margins in Standard Reports

Post by susanh »

Is there any way to change left margins in a standard report? I searched for margins and got info on Report Designer, but that appears to only apply to custom reports? We have PC v. 9 and Window XP 2002 SP2

Unfortunately, it is not possible to adjust the left or right margins in the pre-defined reports.

Thank you for your reply! What about saving it as Word, PDF, or Excel and then adjusting margins? I tried it but had problems with the formatting getting lost. Looking at the other posts, it sounds like that is unavoidable? By the way, in PDF it printed squiggly lines instead of names.

The squiggly lines on PDFs sometimes mean that there are fonts missing on your system or in Acrobat. You may want to see if an update or reinstallation of Adobe Reader will help.

As far as adjusting margins, depending on your printer driver, you may be able to make adjustments using the printer's print properties.

What printer are you using ??
