Beta testing

Post by sbdeming »

I must be having a bad day, but I can't find the forum I'm supposed to use to post questions I have while testing. Can someone point me in the right direction, please?

Thanks!

Towards the bottom of the page, there are 3 forums called "Version 10 Announcements," "Version 10 Problems," and "Version 10 Feature Questions." These forums are only visible when you're logged in, and you're in the Beta Testers group. I checked, and you are actually added to the group, so you should be able to see those forums if you scroll all the way down.

If you've clicked on the Forum Group heading for "PowerChurch Software" (the yellow row), that may hide the Beta Group. Click on the "Beta" heading (yellow row also), and that should make those 3 forums visible, if that's what happened.

If you're still having trouble, let us know.

Thanks!

It was a great combination of everything you mentioned and I had finally found my way in. Thanks for being so prompt in your response

I am not seeing the beta forums any longer when I log on. (Maybe because I haven't used it in awhile and forgot my login?) I finally had time yesterday to sit down and really get into PC10 and was really impressed with what I was seeing. Did find a glitch though. My husband is 51 years old. On his Personal Dates screen, his birthday is 10-25-54 and the age shows as 51. However, when I pull him up using the Locate option, the number in parenthesis by his name is 53. It took me a minute to realize this number was supposed to be his age. Mine is correct. I tried removing the date entirely and putting it back in but it still shows as 53. What next?

Yep, that's what happened. I've sent your original username to your email address, if that helps.
