Congrats on the move to the new server, the system lag time according to my Firefox Fasterfox plugin has improved from a 4 to 6 sec delay to less than .6 of a second.

We were on shared hosting previously, which was fine when we moved there, but the website has seen a lot of growth in the past couple of years. We're on a VPS now, and it seems to make a huge difference. The only trouble (if you can call it that) is I have to do everything myself. No more trouble tickets to the webhost! If something breaks, I have to dig in and figure it out through SSH. I'm not a Linux newbie, but I'm certainly not a guru. However, I'm much closer than I was a week ago.
