Network Powerchurch

Post by BNjze »

We currently have v9 installed on one computer. I believe networking would give us greater flexability and get better use of this program. What are the restrictions on the server end. Can i get away with just sharing the information off an winxp computer ??

General Thoughts would be greatly appreciated

THanks

There really is no need to have a server to run Powerchurch on a network, all you need to do is network share the folder you currently have Powerchurch setup in.

If you have a copy of the manual, all you need to do is follow the networking directions there, or follow this link: http://www.powerchurch.com/support/answ ... icle_id=33

This then sets up the current computer as the data server, with all the other computers using it as the database source.

Hope this helps.
