Tracking PC User entries/updates

Post by jimotr »

I'm the administrator for our church's network & PCs. I have been asked if it is possible to track / log PC user entries. Meaning if I have multiple users who have access to various parts of PC, can I tell who made or modified an entry in the application/database & when it was done?

Thanks -- Jim

The system has audit logs in the Contributions, Fund Accounting, and Utilities Modules that record significant events that occur in the system. Check these and see if they are what you are looking for.

Matt --
I found these today. Is there any other place I can pull some reports from the database (i.e. DB Manager utility)?

Thanks,
Jim

You can use the custom reports feature in the different modules to access all of the database fields contained in the system and develop queries to extract the specific data elements you want.
