PROPOSED NEW FEATURE: Room/Event Scheduling

Version 10 is in the embryonic planning stages. Actually, I guess it's even zygotic at this point, but I digress. A proposed new feature for this upcoming version is the ability to schedule events, book rooms, etc. As with so many other things in PowerChurch, we like to get user input - especially at such an early stage. We already have a pretty basic idea of how this feature should work, but we would like to hear what you think about it. This is the thread to discuss what you'd like to see in such a feature.
Disclaimers and such: Please know that while we do take user suggestions very seriously, we can't and won't implement every single suggestion we get. We generally have a fairly far-reaching plan, and sometimes certain suggestions are scheduled for later, would conflict with other things, or just plain won't work. Please don't take it personally if the feature isn't implemented exactly to your specifications. We've got over 23,000 organizations to try to take into account.
Also, please be aware that this proposed update is AT LEAST a year away, probably more. Event/Room scheduling isn't the only update we're considering, so we've got a lot of work ahead of us. We can't even begin to suggest an estimated release date.
