Our clients have PC+ 11 Runtime Files and PC+ Version 10 Runtime Files listed as currently installed programs. Is this appropriate or should I remove the PC+ version 10 runtime files?

Do they have both versions loaded? Are they using the older version as an archive? If so, you really can't remove them.dswiley wrote:Our clients have PC+ 11 Runtime Files and PC+ Version 10 Runtime Files listed as currently installed programs. In any case, having both versions on a system does not cause problems. I've had three different versions on a single machine at one time without any issues.
If the client is no longer using the older version, just use the normal Windows program removal applet to delete it from the system.

If you do leave both versions on the computer be sure to remove the shortcut icon from the desktop so that you or some other user does not enter data into the old version by mistake.

We are (or should be) just using version 11. I will have to check if version 10 is an archive. Seems from the answers that no harm to have two versions of runtime. I assume they keep the data base access correctly between running version 10 or version 11.
